About this site

Accessibility statement

We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2. The site has been checked automatically and by keyboard, not yet with a screen reader. This page says what was done, how it was tested and where the site falls short.

What was done

  • Keyboard. Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with the keyboard alone. The element that has focus always shows a clear outline. The first link on every page skips to the main content.
  • Contrast. Text has a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 with its background. The borders of form fields have at least 3 to 1.
  • No motion. Nothing on the site moves. There is no animation and no transition.
  • Narrow screens. Every page is readable at 390 pixels wide. The page itself never scrolls sideways.
  • Print. Print styles leave out the navigation and print the text on white.
  • Structure. Headings follow in order. Tables name their columns and rows with header cells.

How it was tested

The site was tested in two ways during the build.

  • Automated checks ran in a real browser at two widths: 1440 pixels and 390 pixels.
  • Keyboard use was checked by hand.

That is all the testing there has been. No outside party has audited the site, and the site holds no certificate.

Known limitations

  • The two portraits of the partners are small photographs. Each has a text description, but the pictures show little detail when enlarged.
  • Long tables scroll sideways inside their own frame on a phone. The frame can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard.
